The Meet Up: The first thing I like to do is meet up with my marrying couple at a local pub or cafe and have a chat about your wedding. I like to make sure you are happy with my personality and I am what you're looking for. Call me, or send me an email and I can arrange a time that suits you.

(Most Celebrants will require a deposit to secure your date in their calendar.)

Notice of Intended Marriage: The next step is to lodge a Notice of Intended Marriage with your chosen Celebrant, this has to be done at least one month (30 days) prior to your wedding date. Then legally you can proceed with your marriage.

In order to be married, you will have to produce to your Celebrant (at any stage prior to the wedding taking place)

  • Passports, or Birth Certificates
  • Drivers Licences
  • Divorce Certificates (if applicable)

Organising your Ceremony: I will send you many different examples of previous weddings I have performed. Your ceremony can be whatever you dream it to be, whether that's; long, short, funny, romantic, traditional, personalised or even generic.

You may choose to have sound effects/music, you can sing a song, you can light candles or fill jars with sand. You can have a ring warming ceremony or even a flash mob reading. This is your special day.

Your ceremony can be 5 minutes or 50 minutes. I don’t mind at all!

Once you tell me what you're dreaming of, I will draft up a ceremony for you to edit/read through and give me your thoughts. We can go back and forth as many times as you like until your ceremony is perfect.

Once finalised, it's time for your rehearsal!

Rehearsal: I love having relaxed rehearsals with my couples, it can give you a lot more confidence on your wedding day and I can answer any lingering questions for you or your bridal party in preparation for the big day.

Wedding Day!: I will arrive at least 30-45 mins prior to the ceremony. I will set up my fantastic PA system and signing table (if you choose to use them), and get ready for the big event. I will chat to your family and friends, and venue managers to make sure everything runs smoothly. Then your happily ever after begins!

After the wedding: I like to contact you for feedback, because it is important to me. I will also direct you to Births, Deaths and Marriages to obtain your official wedding certificate.

I also love to stay in touch! Hopefully you'll ask me to name your babies, re-new your vows or even MC your party!

At Rosella Celebrant, I work hard to ensure that getting married is easy, fun and memorable as possible.

I love, love, and I love what I do and I hope it shows!
